CHICAGO, IL, FEBRUARY 17, 2005 -- GoldenPalace.com, the Internet casino renowned for creative forms of marketing, is the winning bidder for the McDonald's "Lincoln Fry", the commercial prop that the fast food giant put up on Yahoo! Auctions to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities'.

The prop was created for DDB Chicago's production of McDonald's "Lincoln Fry" television and Internet advertisements. Crafted from polyurethane, the Lincoln Fry stands approximately 4 inches tall and displays a partial bust of President Abraham Lincoln on one end.

The McDonald's ad campaign featuring the Lincoln Fry was viewed by millions of people when it was first aired during the Super Bowl.

"When the ads aired, it was obvious that they were a parody of our extremely successful marketing campaign involving the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich that we won on eBay for $28,000" said GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe. "We are flattered that McDonald's recognized the success of our marketing strategy and chose to run a similar campaign. With the sandwich already in our collection, and our corporate philosophy of helping those in need, buying the Lincoln Fry was a given. This is a great day for marketing and a great day for Abe Lincoln."

GoldenPalace.com will be sending the $75,100 fry on a country-wide tour along with the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich to allow people to see these items for themselves.

By creating, finding and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well being of children, Ronald McDonald House Charities is working to better the lives of children and their families around the world. To date, RMHC and their global network of local Chapters have awarded more than $400 million dollars in grants worldwide towards their mission to make an immediate and positive impact on as many children as possible.
