This Auction is for one 9
1/2" X 13 7/8" Envelope
What's in side the envelope is a Mystery.
Some might say I'm crazy for doing this but you
only live once.
I'll keep this auction description very
short and just state that shipping on this
envelope is free worldwide but insurance is
required at the rate of $1.00 per $100.00. I
won't disclose the value of the contents of the
envelope so the insurance will apply to the
price of the winning bid for this mystery
envelope and not the actual value of the
contents in the envelope.
So as an example if the high
winning bid is $500.00 the high winning bidder
will pay $500.00 and $5.00 postal insurance for
a total of $505.00 US or if it is something like
$4,663.00 it will be rounded down to the nearest
hundred and the winning bidder will pay $46.00
US for postal insurance.
This envelope will be shipped by
courier (will have a tracking number) so if you
are the high winning bidder and have a postal
box make sure you give me an address that a
courier can deliver to.
DON'T email me and ask what is in
the envelope, I won't say. DON'T email me after
the auction and ask either, I won't say. If the
high winning bidder wishes to disclose what the
contents of the envelope is after they receive
it then that is totally up to them.
GOOD LUCK,
LET THE BIDDING BEGIN........
This auction has NO RESERVE. If you bid
please plan to complete the sale,
All BIDS are
legally binding and you will be expected to
follow through with payment if you win this
auction.
I accept the following
forms of payment:
- PayPal (preferred)
- Money Order (U.S. Funds
only (MUST be cashable in Canada))

Shipping is FREE

$1.00 US per $100.00.

Boy this
auction is getting bigger than I ever expected. I wish the
bids where climbing just as fast as all the questions piling
up. Don't get me wrong I'm having a blast and I'll try to
answer all the questions as best I can, but remember I'm not
going to say what's inside the Envelope, nope not even for a
bribe like one radio station tride to do. You'll have to be
the winning bidder at the end of this auction.
I will
however help you out on a few points:
(1) It is NOT
something illegal or disgusting. (2) Yes there is something
in the envelope. (3) No I won't say what it is, what the
value is or if it relates to something else.
IF this
envelope sold for tens of thousands of dollars no I would not
loose any sleep over it and would welcome contact after the
winning bidder received the envelope, good or bad. Feedback is
also welcome.
Will it go
that high? Who knows... Stranger things have
happened.

I received
a question I'll answer here instead of below so it doesn't get
pushed down.
Q: "Just a
quick question about your update you posted. Did you mean "Boy
this auction is getting bigger than I ever expected" because
the bids are higher than what you thought you would get or
expected? Sorry one more. Why won't you loose any sleep if it
sold for tens of thousands of dollars? Is that how much it is
worth?"
A: By bigger I
mean popularity, (currently 333 watchers) and the amount of
questions, interest etc. All I'll say to your second question
is I made a decision to do this auction regardless of how
little or how much I receive from it.

Do to all the
attention, questions, followers and a few bribes to find out
what's in the Mystery Envelope I have decided to add to this
listing.
So... If or
when this Auction reaches $1,000.00 US I will reveal a very
important clue about what's in the envelope.
Just remember
your bid is legally binding and you will be expected to follow
through with payment if you win this auction so
DON'T jack up the bid just to find out the
clue.

Mystery Envelope Clues!
Ok, let's take this auction up another notch.
I have now been completely swamped with hundreds of
questions and am getting bribes from all over from concert
tickets and free tires to wives, a tropical gold fish and some
girls bi-sexual boyfriend, just to say what's in the envelope.
Well the auction is now getting an average of 6 hits per
second and currently has (hold on let me check) 1084 watchers
and is poised to become the # 1 currently watched auction on
ebay.
So like I said lets kick this auction up another notch,
sure even before the bidding reaches $1,000.00 US. Why
not...
Here are two clues to what's in the
envelope.
Yes it is valuable and Yes it is something a great many
people would want. What is it? Ok let's not push it too
far.

UPDATE:
This is Funny but unfortunate:
Last night about 3:30am 1597 people to
date had marked this auction in their "My Ebay Page" making
this the #1 currently most watched auction on ebay, then this
morning at about 6:00 am roughly only 37 people showed having
this auction marked to watch. Clearly something was wrong. I
contacted ebay to enquire, well they can not say why over 1500
people in the middle of the night with-in about 2 1/2 hours
all decided to stop watching this auction. YA RIGHT.... (why
do people not just say they screwed up and apologize) Last
time I talked to myself I'm sure I wasn't an idiot.
I myself would like to apologize for any inconvenience
this has caused my watchers and visitors to this auction. I
know there are hundreds of people waiting for the final
outcome of this auction to see who the winning bidder will be
and for how much this envelope sells for.
If you would like to mark this auction listing yet
again, to watch in your "My Ebay Page" you can click the link
at the top of this listing or Click Here.
Again sorry for this inconvenience....(stay tuned for the conclusion of this auction Sunday
night)

information:
"VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE!"
Before we
continue with the bidding let me clear some things up and
state a few things.
First this
auction in no way violates any of ebay's rules or policies,
either the listing or the contents in the envelope. I enjoy
being a user of ebay and follow all rules as they have posted
them. It also clearly states at the very beginning of this
auction listing that You are Bidding on an
Envelope with contents that are a mystery (unknown).
Think of it like a grab bag, charity auctions do it all the
time. This IS NOT a charity
auction.
I guarentee
that there is something in the envelope that you are bidding
on. I will not state the actual value of the contents. There
is nothing wrong with someone bidding what ever they want for
an item whether or not what they pay for the item in the end,
is what the value of the item actually is. Either less than
the item costs or higher than the item costs.
So for
an example an auction house puts up for
auction a rare painting, the listed value is say $100,000 but
it sells for only 25,000 well someone got a great deal. But
what if two people really wanted that painting and they bid it
up to $1,000,000.00, Well that is exactly what an auction is
all about...
PLEASE have
fun with this auction and BID if you would
like and as much as you would like, but understand you are
bidding on an envelope with an unknown item in it. There is
NO GUARANTEE that the value of the envelope
and contents will be of the same dollar value of the eventual
winning bid price. There are NO REFUNDS, RETURNS and the item
will be shipped and insurance is required as stated above.
NOW
LET'S GET BACK TO BIDDING...
Just to sweeten the pot lets quickly recap the two
previous clues and give you just ONE more....
Yes it is valuable, Yes it is something a great many
people would want
AND
Yes people enjoy this...
So what is it, well one lucky high winning bidder will
get that chance to find out.....

"Yet Another Important
Notice!"
To insure the integrity on the bidding of this auction
I am now imposing for any future bids a minimum feedback
rating of 20 in order to automatically bid on this auction. If
you have a feedback rating lower than 20 you must now contact
me to be approved to bid. If your feedback rating is above 20
feel free to bid but I reserve the right to cancel ANY
bids.
I apologize for this inconvience but feel this is
necessary.
Please remember it is against ebay rules to Bid with the intent to disrupt a
listing and like I have stated before you are LEGALLY
bound to pay the price of your winning bid should you be the
high bidder at the end of this auction. This is to be paid
with-in five days of the close of this auction.

Here
are two comments sent to me today by a couple viewer's,
thought I would share them .
Q: Wouldnt it be cool if a talk show host
were to pay the winner money to open it on their show. Then
the winner wouldnt be out so much if the items inside werent
worth that much and it would be a good show LOL. HEY OPRAH
call the winning bidder so we can watch it opened on national
tv. Or even Regis and Kelly. Soemone call this person when its
over to offer them money to open it on your show.
Sounds like a Great Idea regardless of the contents
value, I know there are a lot of people who would like to know
exactly what is in the envelope. But what ever the winning
bidder wishes to do is up to them.
Q: Hmmm...I see you have had several
offers to trade the secret of the contents for someone's wife,
and so far they have had no luck. I'll do you one better. If
you DON'T tell me the contents of the envelope, you get my
wife (I'll need your address, I'm not waisting money on a
plane ticket:)! Hope you are suitably terrified, and will now
reveal the contents, or better still, that you will not and
just accept the wife. Either way, I win!!!
Oh great another wife, well does she come
with baggage and what guarantee would I have that you wouldn't
want her back? I'm not saying I will reveal the contents of
the envelope, because I won't, just curios...

Yet another one of the many comments
Q: Can you erase some of the previous questions
and add new questions? The questions are almost as
entertaining as the auction. Your comebacks are hysterical! My
whole family is watching this and I have emailed this ebay
link to about 20 or so friends, who emailed this to their
friends.. and so on.. and so on... Tell ebay to let you post
additional questions. They have gotten some amazing
advertising out of this. Good luck to you!
Paula
Nope can't erase previous questions. But welcome to the
newest form of entertainment, I like to call it
Reality Auctions. See what you do is you take
an interesting auction, invite tens of thousands of people,
answer a mountain of questions, throw in some media, a few
hundred bidders, a couple updates here and there and you now
have one of the most entertaining forms of activity on the
internet and it is kid safe (I've got kids, sorry it's a
habit). Don't believe me, ok every one that ate dinner at the
computer desk last night raise your hand. See what I
mean.
Hopefully though at the conclusion of this auction the
high bidder decides to say that what was in the envelope
was... ya like I'm going to say. But what ever it is, the main
thing is they know they are bidding on a everyday run of the
mill 9 1/2 x 13 7/8 ENVELOPE which has mystery (unknown)
contents that may or may not be worth the same dollar value as
their winning bid. What ever the bidding ends up at is totally
up to them and we have 1 day and 8 hours left of this nail
biting, don't talk I'm reading excitement left.
Oh and THANKS Paula and all your family and friends and
their friends for taking part in this auction, even if it was
only as an addicted mystery envelope auction viewer.
Appreciated...

"FINAL AUCTION UPDATE !"
We are almost
down to the last 12 hours of this wild auction and because no
more updates are allowed within 12 hours of the close of an
auction this will be my last update.
I'm sorry for
the length the listing got to but as things came up I tried to
deal with them or share things with the tens of thousands of
viewers to this auction. I appreciate and wish to thank every
one who viewed, bid and sent there comments in. I understand
that thousands now in many county's of the world are on the
edge of their seats waiting to see what this auction ends at
and in the near future what was in the envelope. I myself
regardless of anything wish the winning bidder does disclose
the contents of the envelope just so every one that has taken
any sort of interest in this auction finds out what was in it,
good or bad.
I feel I have
let everyone know what it is they are bidding on if they
choose, and explained any thing else that has come up. I urge
any one that wants to bid to make sure they read all of this
description so they understand shipping and the payment policy
etc. and again sorry for the length.
I will also
let everyone know I will post any after auction updates I find
out regarding the possible disclosure of the envelopes
contents to my about me page, you may want to book mark it. I
will not answer emails regarding this after the auction if
there is any news it will be posted there. I will not disclose
the contents but let you know if, when, where etc. the winning
bidder choose's to do so and only with their
permission.
Well that is
about it, GOOD LUCK to the bidders and thanks again to every
one for being a part of this ebay auction. Stay tuned for the
ending in roughly 12 hours.
