This new, orginal, work of art is a 6" ceramic bowl that was hand-painted and autographed by Richard Pryor in late 2005.
The design on the outside of the bowl includes a martini glass, lips
with a cigarette, and his signature. The design on the inside
of the bowl is a self-portrait of the great comedian, which
includes the message, "Little black man in big white world."
Mr. Pryor, a long time animal advocate and lover, agreed
to decorate this one-of-a-kind bowl as a fundraiser to
benefit the homeless animals sheltered at Geauga Humane Society's
Rescue Village. Mrs. Jennifer Pryor, Richard's
wife, graciously shared her wish that the sale of the bowl
raises lots of money to help as many domestic pet animals as
possible.
