Mother and Child
I was about to chuck this into the wood stove when the image in the
center caught my eye. I was never a very religious
person, before, but this is an image of the Madonna! I could not
burn it. The picture is taken of it EXACTLY as I found it,
in the wood pile. This wood was cut here in Wisconsin, with a
Husqvarna chain saw, in order to heat our house. It's even got a
halo of lighter colored wood around her head!! Rustic and
strangely refined at the same time. Nothing short of miraculous!
Measurements are approximately 12" tall (image is about 8"),
8" wide, 6" deep. Shipping via Fed Ex Ground includes insurance
for the first $100 and will cost $10 inside the US. Other
arrangements, including pick up, can be made.
